We’re thrilled to celebrate the launch of Paperweight, the stunning new collection by local poet Ryan Teitman, the 2024 winner of the Akron Poetry Prize. Ryan will be joined by two incredible writers, Christine Guarango and Meghan Elizabeth Kelley, for an evening of readings and literary community.
About the readers:
Ryan Teitman is the author of Litany for the City and Paperweight. His work has appeared in Poetry, The Southern Review, and The Yale Review, and he is the recipient of a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, a MacDowell Fellowship, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. He lives nearby in Glenside with his family.
Christine Guarango is a poet, editor, and teacher from just outside Philadelphia. She teaches at CCP and serves as poetry editor for Birdcoat Quarterly. Her work appears in Stirring Literary Magazine and beyond.
Meghan Elizabeth Kelley is a writer and poet from the Philadelphia area whose work has appeared in Epiphany, Bellingham Review, HAD, and Toyon. She holds an MFA from Randolph College.
